I found the hotel to be a mixed experience. While the rooms were a bit cold and sometimes filled with strong cooking smells, they were also very comfortable, and the staff was excellent. However, the location seemed a bit neglected although it was close to the town center of Kilkenny.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, but unfortunately quite small and got very hot with no way to cool down. Additionally, the noise from the kitchen and bar staff starting early in the morning was a downside. The staff, on the other hand, were excellent, super friendly, and welcoming, which made my stay enjoyable.
